Jennifer & Rob | North River Yacht Club

It is rare that I never get to meet the bride or anyone in their family before the wedding, but that was the case in Jennifer & Rob's wedding.  Of course, I had countless phone calls and emails with the bride's mom, but it was nice to finally get to meet everyone that Saturday at North River Yacht Club, in Tuscaloosa, AL.

The Lamb Family serenaded the guests with their beautiful talent before and during the wedding.  It was a very emotional ceremony and I am so glad we were there to film it.

Scottie Jones photographed the wedding, while the Cool Shots Photo Lounge (Feel the Beat Entertainment) provided great snapshots of the guests in the photo booth.  There might have even been a few vendor shots which are lovingly displayed on our filing cabinet in the office.  Cool magnets, by the way, Feel the Beat!

I didn't realize it at the time (maybe because there wasn't a formal meeting), but thanks to Facebook and a picture I uploaded, Andy Tolar with Design Productions made the downstairs room even more beautiful that it already is.

As guests were leaving they were treated to a neat favor, that of course, I had to take a picture of!  Enjoy!

Alabama Weddings Magazine | Behind the Scenes | 2012 | Norton's

Now that the long anticipated magazine release is out, you can see the beautiful photo shoot of Norton's Weddings & Events.  Sure it is a long day filled with lots of hard work, but you do get to hang out with your "work friends" so it makes it all worth it!

For this shoot, J Ross with Norton's trasforrmed the venue into a garden oasis.  You can see all of the pictues in the 2012 Alabama Weddings Magazine.  Here is the behind the scenes video that we did of all of the fun that goes along with a photo shoot!  A special thanks to Jerrod Brown Studios, Olexa's, Bella Couture, Mr. Burch Formal Wear, Melissa Moore Bogardus (makeup), Bromberg's, Andy Tolar with Design Productions and The Garage.

Stephanie + Steven: Double Oak CC/LincPoint
A couple of weeks ago we were honored to be a part of the wedding of a great couple and their families.  Stephanie and Steven were married at Double Oak Community Church under the direction of Beverly Andrews with Engaging Celebrations.  It was actually Beverly's home church, so her husband, Jim, was running the sound and light board.  I do have a special thanks to him for upping the lighting just a bit for a light greedy videographer!!! Hee Hee.

After the very romantic ceremony, we all traveled over to LincPoint.  This was our first time working at this venue!  After 7 years, we don't get to work at new venues often, so it was so much fun!  Andy Tolar, Design Productions, had transformed this area into a beautiful masterpiece.  It was amazing! Geoff, with Jamm Entertainment provided the entertainment for the evening and kept everyone dancing!

If you are a follower of our blog, then you know that I LOVE to post sneak peak clips for our couples.  Normally, I will post fun dancing or a small edited portion of the couple's 1st sighting on the blog, this time I decided to post getting ready footage.  I didn't include all of the details from this couple's day in this edit (ie. wearing funny glasses with a mustache that moves up and down so that the her dad wouldn't cry when he saw her in her dress). One of my favorite clips is the expression on the bride's sister's face after putting on the veil.  How neat it must be to have a sister!
