A bride with a beautiful smile, a loving groom and surprise fireworks! What a night! We love that Jennifer enjoyed her wedding day so much that she wants to do it all over again!!! You can tell by her smile throughout the video that she was having the time of her life!
Jennifer with her planner, Rachael Grammer with Two Hearts Weddings & Events assembled a great team for the late Summer wedding. Jerrod Brown Studios' work is always stunning and he didn't dissappoint this time either. And talk about gorgeous flowers! Wow, HotHouse Design Studio hit it out of the ballpark!
And remember I mentioned that surprise fireworks. It was awesome. Watch their highlights clip to see!

Sunny yellow flowers everywhere that perfectly matched Kelli's sunny disposition. That is what stands out most about this wedding. Kelli had assembled a great team of vendors which always makes the day easier, smoother, and really better. Anita Kanellis of AK Brides was the planner, David Shirk of Unplugged Photography (and Ari) were doing their thing that they do so well, Coats Classic Cars was on site, Design Productions made it all lovely, Heidi Elnora designed Kelli's perfect wedding gown, and The Club's service at the wedding reception was exceptional. Watch Kelli and Robert's highlight video to see the fun!
Fun! Fun!

"It’s a beginning and an ending, it’s glorious and sad, and it’s intimate and public. In your lifetime there will be few milestones that will change the course of your future more than your wedding day. Main Street Productions understands and believes in the emotions of life. We bring these emotions to our art and look forward to presenting you a glimpse into your own past." - John Deaver, Main Street Productions
When Megan's mom bragged about her beautiful and talented daughter, as all moms do, I really didn't think much about it. Obviously I could tell how proud she was. But then when I met Megan, I understood! She is a beautiful and successful woman and we all had so much fun on her wedding day. And Joel is just the perfect guy for her. Enjoy their wedding day highlights from Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover, AL and a reception at The Club.

Who doesn't love a great surprise? Especially when you get to surprise an entire room of people, including the bride and groom.
When Rachel's sister-in-law, Stephanie came to us looking to do a Same Day Edit, we were thrilled! We first met Stephanie many years ago through her company (Engaged, A Wedding Library)/PWG Birmingham and instantly became friends. She is a savvy business woman who loves her family dearly.
Rachel arranged an all-star team for her wedding. You hear if often but sharing a wedding day with a family is an honor, no matter how many times you do it.
Take a look at this SDE highlights of their special day! Thanks to Ginny Au with Bits and Bobs, Stephen DeVries Photography, Event Rentals Unlimited, Dreamcakes Bakery, Molly Stilley (bride's hair and makeup), Prince of Peace Catholic church, Happy Catering, The Club, Rare Transportation and HotHouse Design Studio.

For the past few years, we have seen the popularity rise for Same Day Edits (you can read about them here), but recently the Next Day Edit appeared on the wedding scene. As a vendor, I am not sure that they are any easier than a SDE; they actually might be harder to produce (because you are tired from the wedding already but still have to stay awake and edit throughout the night). But the impact is still very high.
For this clip, our family wanted a little entertainment for their Farewell Brunch at ALOFT Hotel on the Sunday following the wedding. We created this piece to not only help everyone to remember all of the details that came together to make a fabulous wedding but it also gave their family and friends (that were absent) a way of feeling a part of the celebration.
It was delivered that morning and our wonderful editor, John, came home and promptly went to bed!

There is a new wedding blog in town and we have had a couple of our weddings featured!
This past weekend, photographer Frank Carnaggio was featured with one of his weddings from last summer, for which we were the videographer. Blaire and Rush's wedding was spectacular, filled with lots of details (and the cutest kids ever), pulled together by wedding planner, Meghan Cease of M. Elizabeth Weddings & Events. You can read all about the wedding here.

Then yesterday, one of our all-time favorite brides, Sara Sanderson Franklin and her husband Drew were featured for their wedding at Double Oak Community Church with the reception at The Club. The best part (in our opinion!!!) was that their wedding video highlights were featured too! Read the blog post here.

Our wonderful couple was married on one of those November Saturdays that the weather was just perfect. The kind of day that you felt you should be spinning around on a hilltop somewhere singing at the top of your lungs. So we really didn't have the option of doing that, as Catherine and Brook were pretty excited to be getting married! And speaking of newlyweds, photographer extraordinaire, Ann Wade (Parrish) Shreve was just coming back from her own wedding bliss and we were so excited to get to hang/work with her.
Asbury United Methodist Church was the location of the ceremony with The Club for the reception. A big highlight of the evening was the chocolates on a big table in lieu of the groom's cake. LOVE this idea. AND the family even had some bagged to give to the vendors after the wedding. How thoughtful were they!!! (Sure, someone on the cleanup crew decided to help themselves to ours during the going away. I didn't need the calories anyway...) I should have snapped a picture of the candy table, but maybe you should just head over to Ann Wade's blog to see the pictures yourself!

We are pretty lucky that we have such great couples at Main Street. They are great and their families are usually great too! But it will take a lot to top this couple. Miss Sara (who knows everyone in the city of Birmingham it seems) and her beau, Drew were married in a romantic ceremony at Double Oak Community Church. With almost 500 guests, it is easy to see the number of people this couple impacted. The Club was the reception location and was flawless as usual.
We were able to work with an outstanding photographer, Alyson with Eternal Reflections by Alyson. She was so much fun and the photos turned out amazing! Check them out here.
We love wedding planners! How could you not?? They keep the day running smoothly and efficiently, they look out for you throughout the day, and they generally make the day better. As much as we love planners, we love planner extraordinaire, Beverly Andrews with Engaging Celebrations! So our course with her in charge the day was almost easy. Almost. Ha! Geoff and Lamar with JAMM Entertainment were both in attendance as DJs for Sara and Drew's reception. They had everyone dancing and having a great time, which makes the footage look so fun!
The only thing that went wrong the whole day was Sara's lipstick kept staining Drew's lips and cheeks!!!
Other vendors involved:
Brides & Bow Ties
Porcelain & Pink and Morgan Ashley Studio Salon
We are so excited to share the highlight film from Sara and Drew's wedding!

There are so many details that I could talk about. Pink draping everywhere! The 7 tiered (or more!)cake by Jan O'Donnell, delicious! The many food stations. The fireworks display that was out of this world! And then an extra treat! The guests came back in from outside and saw the newly formed cheesecake station! Perfection, I am telling you.
During the midst of our crazy, busy week, we were able to capture Lacey and Tyler on their wedding day! After a full house ceremony at Riverchase UMC, the wedding guests made their way to The Club for dinner, drinks, and dancing!
We had a couple of connections to the bride and her family – 1) John knew the bride’s parents from Spain Park High School where they both were involved in the Football Coaches Show and 2) Lacey’s matron of honor was a former MSP bride! We love to see familiar faces! (Although it was probably 3 hours into the evening before things slowed down enough that I was even able to say hello to Natalie)
It had been a few years since we had been given the opportunity to work with Marsha Perry Photography. We were excited to see her in action (instead of just at vendor meetings)! All of us spent the evening chasing down the bride and groom and their guests - making sure that we were capturing just the right moments.
The band did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor. It was a party like no other! Below is a small highlight clip that we provided to the bride and groom as their sneak peak!
